Yay, I’ve made it to chapter 2! Sorry it’ tking me so long to read this, I have too many things to do. :-/ I think it got off to a slow start, but it’s getting interesting. And the cover for chapter 2 looks beautiful!
I like how Scaevus admits that he’s a jerk and, at the same time, still has standards. And that feeling of knowing something should be there but being unable to find it… I’ve had it too many times, so I can relate.
I wonder… wouldn’t it be uncomfortable to walk around with those huge ears? They could get stuck on anything. Not that this is the first place where I’ve seen ears of that size, it’s just something I’ve always wondered.
The dynamics among all the characters seem interesting, but I need to read more in order tomake better sense of them.
I know I’m still far behind, I just wanted to give you some input so you know I’m reading this and intend to catch up eventually (and then keep up).
